Open Exness Account

Independent Exness partner guide

What has to exist before a first deposit, and what can wait until after it

Almost every step of getting started can be taken out of order and put right afterwards. Funding is the step where that stops being true. A deposit needs a real trading account that already exists, a decision about which of them it is, and an identity check that is expected before money leaves again — and it is aimed at an account number rather than at a person, so a payment sent too early lands somewhere real and inconvenient. The install, oddly, is the one item on the list that is never in the way. This page sorts the order that does not double back from the order most people assume.

This is an independent partner website — not Exness itself. It holds no funds and processes no payments. Deposits and withdrawals happen only in the Personal Area on the official exness.com; this site explains the sequence.

The short list

Four things the deposit form expects to find already there

The form itself is short. What it assumes is not, and each assumption is something created earlier in a different screen. Missing any of the four does not produce an error message — it produces a payment that goes somewhere unhelpful, or a payout that sits waiting later on.

Needed before the deposit form is opened Where it comes from
A real trading account Opened and visible in the Personal Area — a practice account cannot receive one Created in the Personal Area after registration
Its account number The deposit is credited to the account chosen during the process, by number Listed beside each trading account in the Personal Area
A method the region offers The form draws its options from a live list rather than from anything decided in advance Shown on the form itself, inside the Personal Area
Identity verification Expected by the time money leaves; finishing it first removes the usual delay Part of the account setup in the Personal Area

Only the fourth item is commonly left until later, and it is the one that repays being done first. Notice also what the list does not contain: a downloaded terminal. Nothing on it involves an installer at all.

The step everybody puts first

The download is the one item that never blocks anything

The usual instinct is to fetch the software, then work out the rest around it. Reversed, the sequence gets shorter: the account decides which terminal is worth installing, so installing first means either guessing or repeating the download. Nothing in the funding route waits on an installer, and nothing an installer does creates any of the four items above.

Needs the terminal installed? What it needs instead
Registration No A browser on the official exness.com, and nothing else
Creating the trading account No The Personal Area, where the type and the platform are chosen
Identity verification No The setup screens in the Personal Area, and a document
The deposit No An existing trading account and its number, on the form
Placing a trade Yes The terminal that matches the account already created

Swipe the table sideways →

The single "Yes" is the last row, and it arrives after everything else has been settled. That is why the download belongs at the end of the order rather than the beginning: by then the account exists, its platform is known, and there is exactly one thing worth fetching. The platform board sorts the downloads by device →

The destination is a number

A deposit is aimed at an account number, not at a person

One registration can carry several trading accounts, and the deposit form asks which of them the money is for. There is no balance under a name for it to land in — the destination is one line out of a list, and picking the wrong line produces a payment that arrives perfectly successfully in the wrong place.

Why the form asks at all

Because the answer is not implied by anything else on the screen. A registration is a dashboard; the money is credited to a particular trading account inside it, identified by the number printed beside it. The form is offering a choice, not confirming one already made. Telling one account from another →

What a number does not tell the form

Anything about the person paying. Payment details are held against the registered account, and the identity check is the step that ties the two together — so the destination and the payer are verified by two different things, and neither of them is the figure being sent.

If it lands on the wrong one

Moving it afterwards is an internal transfer, not an undo

Money credited to the wrong trading account is not stranded. The Personal Area moves funds between the trading accounts under one registration, which is a normal operation rather than a rescue. It is worth being clear about what that fixes and what it leaves exactly as it was.

What it puts right

The location of the balance. Funds sitting on an account that will never be traded can be moved to the one that will, without involving the original payment method and without a second deposit.

What it leaves untouched

Everything decided at the moment the account was created — its platform and its type. An internal move does not convert an MT4 account into an MT5 one, and it does not turn a Standard account into a professional one. Those were fixed earlier, and the fix for them is a different account, not a transfer.

Which is the practical argument for spending two extra minutes on the account choice before the deposit rather than after it: the correction exists, it works, and it still leaves the original decision standing. Trading is risky and may not be suitable for everyone.

The step with the longest reach

The first payment method has a say in the route back out

Of the four preparations, this is the one whose consequences arrive last. A first withdrawal is shaped by choices made at the first deposit, which is why the method is worth a moment's thought at a point where it feels like the least important field on the form.

  1. Read the choice off the account, not off a guide

What a given account is offered follows its region, so the shortlist is drawn up on the form rather than in advance. This page names none of them for that reason — the preparation is knowing where to look, not arriving with an answer.

  2. Expect the details to be checked against the account holder

Payment details are held against the registered account, and the identity check is the step that ties the two together. Doing it before the first deposit rather than after is what keeps this from becoming a question at cash-out time.

  3. Then treat the withdrawal route as already half-decided

The majority of withdrawals are processed automatically, providing quick, 24/7 access to funds.

Processing times may vary depending on the chosen payment method.

Before and after the confirm button

What pressing send fixes, and what can still be changed

The four preparations are not equally final. Two of them stop being adjustable the moment the form is confirmed; two carry on being adjustable for as long as the account exists. Sorting them this way is the shortest version of everything above.

Fixed once the request is submitted

  • The amount. There is no editing a figure after confirmation; a mistyped amount is corrected by a further transaction, not by changing the first one.
  • The payment method used. Chosen on the form, and the one that carries this particular payment through with its own limits and timing.

Still adjustable afterwards

  • Which account holds the funds. An internal transfer in the Personal Area moves them between the trading accounts under the registration.
  • Which option carries the next one. The set on offer follows the region and the account, and it is read fresh at each payment rather than fixed by the first.
  • Whether anything is sent at all after this. A first payment commits nothing beyond itself; nothing on the account expects a second.

Requests themselves belong on exness.com: they are made in the Personal Area there, and a page reached from anywhere else that asks for the Personal Area password is a phishing sign rather than a step in this order.

Quick answers

Questions about the order, asked before anything is downloaded

Can money be paid in before a trading account has been created?

No — the deposit is credited to a trading account selected during the process, so one has to exist first. Registration produces the Personal Area; the trading account is created inside it, and only then does the form have a destination to offer.

The form asks which account the money is for. Where does that number come from?

From the Personal Area, where each trading account is listed with its own number beside it. The number is created with the account, not with the payment, which is why the order runs one way: account first, then the figure aimed at it.

Does the terminal have to be installed before a first payment can be made?

No, and installing it first is what causes the double download. The software's job begins once there is a position to open; the money screens are elsewhere entirely, so the install can be left until the account it belongs to has been created.

The money went to the wrong trading account. What now?

An internal transfer in the Personal Area moves funds between the trading accounts under one registration. It relocates the balance and nothing else: the platform and the type of each account were settled when they were created and are unaffected by where the money sits.

Can a transfer turn one kind of account into another after the event?

It cannot, and that is the reason the type belongs on the preparation list rather than after it. Moving a balance changes its address; the pricing and the platform of an account were written when it was opened. Wanting different ones means opening a different account, then moving the funds there.

Which of these choices stop being adjustable once the request is submitted?

Two of them: the figure and the option carrying it. Both are settled by the confirm button and neither can be edited afterwards — a wrong figure is answered with a further transaction rather than a correction. Everything else on this page stays open for as long as the account does.

Does the way in decide the way back out?

Partly, and that is the reason to give the field a moment. Payment details are held against the registered account, so the route a first payment establishes is the route the question of taking funds out starts from. The majority of withdrawals are processed automatically, providing quick, 24/7 access to funds, and processing times may vary depending on the chosen payment method.

A second trading account under the same registration — does it need the whole list again?

Only the parts that belong to the account rather than to the person. A new one is created with its own number and its own type, so those are settled afresh; the identity check was completed once for the registration and is not repeated for each account opened under it.

The account comes before the payment, and the download comes last

Four things belong in place before the deposit form is opened, and none of them is an installer. Each is created in the Personal Area on the official exness.com, in an order that never doubles back on itself. Full registration walkthrough →
